Internship
What makes a WMU Food/CPG Marketing student different from students at other schools? Our Food Marketing students not only receive a quality education, but the required internship element in the major allows them to apply classroom leaning in a real world setting. Interns work in a variety of workplace settings such as retail management, sales and marketing, distribution, and marketing information technology.
These experiences assist in better preparing our graduates for the many challenges they will face in today's highly competitive work environment. Employers must agree with our formula, because our graduates are in high demand with a near 100% placement rate upon graduation.
